Refund Policy – Kama Loka Journeys

At Kama Loka Journeys, we are committed to providing a professional and ethical complementary therapy service with care, respect, and transparency. Our refund policy is designed in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and Queensland Fair Trading requirements.
1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy (such as a refund, replacement, or rebooking) if a service fails to meet a Consumer Guarantee, including:

The service was not delivered with due care and skill.

The service was not as described.

The service did not achieve the results reasonably expected for the stated purpose.
However, refunds are not required if:

You simply change your mind,

You decide not to attend a booked session, or
-
You are dissatisfied with the outcome of a personal or emotional experience, as results in complementary therapy vary between individuals.
2. Session Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations with more than 48 hours’ notice:
You may reschedule your appointment or receive a full refund. -
Cancellations within 24–48 hours:
You may reschedule once at no charge, but refunds are not issued. -
Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows:
The full session fee will be forfeited unless there are exceptional circumstances. -
If you are running late, your session may need to finish at the scheduled time to respect other clients’ bookings.
3. Therapist Cancellations
If a session needs to be cancelled or rescheduled by Kassie Thomas-Smith, clients will be offered:

A rescheduled appointment at a mutually convenient time, or
-
A full refund of any pre-paid session fees.
4. Non-Tangible or Experiential Nature of Services
All services offered through Kama Loka Journeys, including Past Life Regression Therapy and Soul Regression Therapy, are introspective and experiential in nature. While every effort is made to create a supportive and beneficial environment, results cannot be guaranteed, as each client’s experience is unique and guided by their own subconscious and spiritual processes.
Refunds cannot be issued on the basis of personal interpretation, emotional experience, or perceived lack of results.
5. Prepaid Packages or Gift Vouchers

Prepaid sessions or gift vouchers are non-refundable but transferable to another person with prior written consent.

Packages must be used within the validity period stated at purchase.

In the unlikely event that Kama Loka Journeys ceases operation, unused prepaid sessions will be refunded in full.
